Uncle Champ, I will miss you! You were always impeccably dressed and wore a smile. The last time my children and I visited with you we talked about the good ole days. I told them about all the pretty Cadillacs you had and how you would take us, and Devore to swimming lessons during the summer. My children looked forward to visiting with you when we came to town. They could not believe you were as old as you were. You looked great. I asked you your secret to longevity and you told me just how good God is, and how good he had been to you. Devore my dear cousin and family please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. For we know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Prayers and condolences to family, To God Be The Glory. Those that die in Christ never die. Mr. Irick was a very nice man, will remember the stories and talk time we had while taking care of you. You said you would make 100 yrs and you did. So rest in peace now, your Journey was long and a life lived well. Nurse Bernadette
