Obituary For Mr. Steven Jerome Felder

Funeral services for Mr. Steven Jerome Felder, 48, of 875 Nance Street, Orangeburg, SC, will be held 11:00am, Monday, July 24, 2023, at Greater St. John AME Church, 3589 Rowesville Road, Rowesville, SC, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Melissa Green is officiating.

Mr. Felder will be placed in church one hour prior to the service.

Steven Jerome Felder, Sr. was the son of the late Raymond and Lizzie Felder of Orangeburg, South Carolina. He was born on June 8, 1975, in Orangeburg County. He entered into eternal rest on July 19, 2023, at his home in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Steven attended the public schools of Orangeburg County. He was a lifetime member of Greater St. John AME Church in Rowesville, South Carolina, where he was a member of the Sons of Allen. Until a sudden change with his health status, he was employed by Koyo Corporation of the United States of America.

Steven was joined in holy matrimony to Coretta Keyona Terry-Felder on September 2, 2000, in Orangeburg, South Carolina. To this union, four children were born: Alexus, Timberland,
Steven Jr. and Katelyn.

Steven was preceded in death by two brothers: Frank and Michael Felder; one sister, Jeanette Parker; and father-in-law, Thomas Haynes.

Steven leaves to cherish his precious memory: his devoted wife, Coretta Felder of the home; three daughters: Alexus Terry of Charleston, SC, Timberland Terry and Katelyn Felder both of Orangeburg, SC; one son, Steven Jerome Felder, Jr. of Orangeburg, SC; one granddaughter, Kenzie Dixon of Charleston, SC; one sister, Sandra Davis of Orangeburg, SC, one brother, Robert Felder of Orangeburg, SC; a loving mother-in-law, Joe Ann Haynes of Orangeburg, SC; four brothers-in-law: Franklin Jenkins of Orangeburg, SC, Morris Terry of Lake City FL, Delmont Terry and Thomas (Latoya) Terry all of Orangeburg, SC; two sisters-in-law: Barbara Sanders and Demetrius Terry both of Orangeburg, SC; two aunts: Cornelia Bovain and Shirley Felder both of Orangeburg, SC; a dearly loved godson, Delando Steward of Orangeburg, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 23, 2023, from 1:00pm - 6:00pm.

Family and friends may visit the residence of his wife, Mrs. Coretta Felder, 875 Nance Street, Orangeburg or call Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg.
