Obituary For Mr. Jerry Sanders

Funeral Services for Mr. Jerry Sanders, 44, of 2326 Atlantic Avenue, Orangeburg, SC will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Simmons Funeral Home Chapel, 2868 Columbia Road, with Pastor Edward Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Heavenly Rest Memorial Park.

Mr. Sanders passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg.

Jerry Sanders, the son of the late Jerry and Tina Miller, was born on July 2, 1975 in Brooklyn, NY. He departed this life on August 17, 2019 in Orangeburg, SC.

Jerry graduated from Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn, New York. He then moved to Orangeburg in 2005 and was employed with Prime Materials Recovery in Orangeburg, SC. He enjoyed his co-workers and his job.

Jerry loved cookouts, going to his son’s games, and making great memories with his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Barbara T. Sanders; one son, Jerry Deyson Billups of the home; a special daughter, Terranasia Carson of the home; a special friend, Sharon Carson of the home; adoptive sister, Shaniqua Sanders of Brooklyn, NY; two adoptive brothers: Jermaine Sanders and Kenneth Sanders Miller both of Brooklyn, NY; mother-in-law, Joe Ann Haynes; two aunts: Sandra Sanders and Marilyn (Mitchell) Swindell both of Brooklyn, NY; two uncles: Steven Sanders of Orangeburg, SC and Donald Sanders of Brooklyn, NY; two sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Friends may call at the residence, 2326 Atlantic Avenue, Orangeburg or Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg.
