Obituary For Mr. Jackie Brown

Private funeral services will be held for Mr. Jackie Brown, 59, of 2709 Howell Court, Apt. A, Columbia, S.C.

Mr. Brown passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at his residence.

Jackie Brown was born July 19, 1960 to the late Luther Brown, Sr. and Martha Fogle Brown. He departed this life June 1, 2020 at his residence.

He was educated in the Orangeburg County Public School System.

Jackie was multitalented. To phrase his words, “Course now I’m a jack of all trades.” He prided himself as being a master grillman, fisherman, A-1 fish fryer and top notch cook of veggies and other delectable foods, and when he was done, he wanted you to take the taste test. This was the final approval to complete his cooking. Jackie was a people person. He loved life, his family, and his friends. He was always trying to keep the family connected.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Winnie Brown; four children: Tequila Brown (Errol) Brooks, Victorian Brown and Jackie Brown all of Orangeburg, SC and Veronica Murphy of New York, NY; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one aunt, Gladys Fogle; two nephews, Victor (Marylin) Brown and Dwayne (Tamara) Brown; two nieces: Ursula Brown Simmons and Angela Reed Rivers; special friend, Michael Aiken; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
