Obituary For Mr. Isaac Darby, Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Isaac Darby, Sr., 72, of 755 Whitman Street, Orangeburg, SC will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, Orangeburg, SC. Rev. Lester J. Drayton, Jr., is officiating.

Mr. Isaac Darby Sr. was born June 10, 1950 to the late Josh (Winnie Lee Darby). He was reared with the support of a loving family. God saw the need to call Isaac home on November 30, 2022.

Isaac will truly be missed by his family and community but will never be forgotten. Isaac leaves to cherish his memory: his loving daughter of Orangeburg; his loving sons: Isaac Darby Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, Keyonne (Kayla) Jenkins and Isaiah (Amy) Jenkins of Columbia, SC; brothers: John E. Lowe of Connecticut, Thomas Darby of New York and James Darby both of Elloree, SC and Edward Darby of North Carolina; sisters: Rebecca A. Zeigler of Orangeburg and Deloris Darby of Elloree, SC; his loving mother-in-law, Mrs. Rosa Kiett of Orangeburg, SC; 10 grandchildren; his devoted friend, Cynthia Jenkins of Columbia, SC; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
