Obituary For Dr. Rodell Lawrence

Funeral services for Dr. Rodell Lawrence, 78, of Martinez, Georgia, will be held 11:00am, Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Gymnasium on the campus of South Carolina State University. Interment will be held 12:00pm, Monday, June 3, 2024, at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia.

Dr. Lawrence passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024, at his residence.

The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Ceremony from 4:30pm - 5:00pm. Wake services will be held 5:00pm - 7:00pm.

Family and friends may call Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg.
