My condolences to the family of Mr Sammie Williams. Mr Williams was one of the good ones. His guitar playing speaks for itself. He paved the way for many but his time is up. He has done the right thing before death and I'm sure the right thing has happened after death. Rest easy sir πͺ½ππΎ

Sam, I am so glad we had the friendship we had for many years. You are family to us. We all grew up with you and the group over the years. Never a time my dad Lloyd Cannady Sr called for Tommy Ellison and the Five Singing Stars to come on his program and you all never said no. God needed an excellent guitar player in heaven he called you and gave you your wings to come up and help out with the other family in his kingdom. Our last visit together was a wonderful quiet moment I knew then you was going home. You will be missed. I chose to light a purple candle because you always played your purple guitar. Rest your soul in heaven and in peace. Betty C.
