Mr. Joseph Jackson
Graniteville, SC - Joseph Jackson affectionately known as "JoJo" was the son of John Henry Jackson and Dena Mae Landrum Jackson of Edgefield, S.C. Joseph was born on May 27, 1968 and departed this life on Saturday, January 30, 2021. JoJo attended the Edgefield County School System and graduated from Strom Thurmond High School; class of 1986 where he played football.
He worked at Savannah River Remediation for 32 years.
Joe met the love of his life, Kathy Williams in 2001. To this union they were blessed with one son, Kyle Joseph.
JoJo's memories will live forever in the hearts of his wife Kathy and son Kyle, both of Graniteville, S.C.; one niece, Carlita Williams of Graniteville, S.C.; two nephews, Cameron Williams, and Carrington Williams of Augusta, Ga; one grandbaby, Cayden Ryan Williams of Martinez, Ga; a loving mother, Dena Mae Landrum Jackson of Edgefield, S.C.; a father, John Henry Jackson of Edgefield, S.C.; a mother-in-law, Louise Williams of Graniteville, S.C.; two brothers, Jonathon Jackson of Edgefield, S.C., Wilson (Gail) Smith, of Trenton, S.C.; a sister, Brenda Weaver of Edgefield, S.C.; a host of god children, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Graveside service will be conducted on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 2648 Jefferson Davis Hwy. Graniteville, 29829, with Reverend Dr. Jerry Corbett and Reverend Brendolyn Jenkins Boseman, officiating.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 2:00PM - 7:00 PM at Simmons Funeral Home of Williston, Inc. & Cremation Service.
Due to COVID-19 the family kindly ask that no physical visits to the family house at this time. Feel free to reach out to them through calls, social media, and prayers. They want to Thank you all for your love and support during this difficult time.
