Williston, SC - Ms. Carolyn Hayes Coleman, 76, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 6, 2022, at her residence. Services In Loving Memory of Ms. Carolyn Coleman will be conducted on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Simmons Funeral Home of Williston, Inc. & Cremation Service, with Reverend Anthony F. Gadson and Reverend Beverly J. Ashley officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Simmons Funeral Home of Williston, Inc. & Cremation Service.
Ms. Carolyn Hayes Coleman was born May 25, 1946, in Barnwell County, SC. She was the daughter of the late James Hayes Sr. and the late Annie Augustus Hayes. Carolyn at an early age joined the St. Peter Baptist Church, in Elko, South Carolina where she was a member of the Golden Age Club. She graduated from Kelly Edwards High School. She loved her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers: James Hayes, Jr. and Robert Lee Hayes. Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories: three sons; Travis Coleman, of Des Moines, Iowa, Wayne and Dwain Coleman both of Williston, South Carolina, three daughters; Vanessa Hayes, Aike and Annie Strong all of Williston, South Carolina, one brother; Johnnie Hayes, Williston, South Carolina, four grandchildren; Alexander Dowling Des Moines, Iowa, Brian Dowling, Charnita Mack, Kyla Jenkins, all of Williston, South Carolina, two great grandchildren; Aubrey Williams, and Jaya Jenkins, both of Williston, South Carolina. a host of nieces, nephews, cousin other relatives and friends.
