Obituary For Terlonzo Elwond Martin

The late Mr. Terlonzo Elwond Martin departed this life on Friday, October 20, 2023, in Crawford County, Georgia. At the request of the family, the remains will be cremated.

On May 9, 1981, Terlonzo Elwond Martin was born to Mr. and Mrs. James and Crystal Richardson Martin in Ashburn, Georgia.

Terlonzo, affectionately known as “2 Cool” or “Legend", was known for his kindness, love for people, mentorship, and being “Cool” with everyone. “Pictures are memories”, he always said. So when it came to taking pictures, he didn't meet any strangers. He took pictures with most people he met. It simply made him happy. Terlonzo's happiness also came from his love for his family. He adored his sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, wife, bonus daughter, and spiritual family. After learning what the Bible says about the resurrection of our loved ones to life, he was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on 2016. He was bright-eyed at the hope of reuniting with his beloved mother, who passed away when he was a baby boy. He held on to this hope until the end.

Terlonzo was preceded in death by his mother, Crystal Richardson Martin; a grandmother, Laura Richardson; a grandfather, James Edward Phillips, and a grandmother, Lucy Martin.

Terlonzo is survivied by his wife, Christy Martin; a bonus daughter, Kayden Large; his father, James Martin; his sisters, Kimmie Martin, Monesia Kendrick; a brother, Jarenzo Kendrick; his grandfathers, James Laster, Robert Martin; his aunts, Minnie Laster, Diane Richardson, Tracey Laster, Linda Martin; his uncles, Lamar Richardson, Willie Richardson (Stephanie), Daryl Laster; nieces, LaNyia Martin, Nyiesha Martin; nephew, Marquavious Battle; a great niece, Zarie Battle, and a host of other family and friends.
