Paul was educated in the Crisp County Public School System and graduated from Crisp County High School in 1973. After graduating from high school, on November 20, 1974, Paul enlisted in the United States Army, proudly serving his country.
Paul gave his life to Christ at an early age and joined the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Sibley, Georgia. Paul served in his church in many capacities as a member of the Choir, the Usher Board, the New Hope Brotherhood Ministry, and the Trustee Board.
Paul’s hobbies consisted of grilling, planting and nourishing flowers, fishing, hunting, and eating wild game, especially turtles. He also enjoyed writing, as he published a book of poems called “Never A Dull Moment”. He was noted among the Fifty Famous Poets during his lifetime. Most of his poems were an inspiration to others and always acknowledged God in his poems for all of his readers.

Remembering, a dear classmate, Deepest sympathy to the family. Praying 🙏 for strength for the family.
Another candle has been extinguished here on earth. I have known Paul since the 60's attending A.S. Clark School. He was a quiet gentle soul who never had a mean spirit. Like most of my classmates, I lost contact after graduation but,I never forgot Paul. Rest easy now and find yourself new friends. May God bless your soul with eternal peace. Elie Jones
