The funeral services of the late Mr. Larry Lee Clark of 824 Detroit Avenue, Ashburn, Georgia, who departed this life on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the New Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Coverdale, Georgia. Words of Comfort will be given by Pastor Ulysses Teague. Services may be viewed Facebook Live from the "Shipps Funeral Home" Facebook page.
Mr. Larry Lee Clark, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James, Sr. and Mamie B. Hill Clark, was born on November 7, 1956 in Turner County, Georgia.
Larry attended schools in the Turner County Public School System and attended Eureka High School. Larry accepted Christ at an early age and joined the New Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Coverdale, Georgia. On Tuesday, December 22, 2020, our Loved One moved from this earthly plane to take his Eternal Rest. We are blessed to have had him to be a part of our lives. We find comfort in knowing he is at peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His parents, and a brother, Willie Clark, all have preceded him in death. Larry leaves to cherish his memories a son, Clifton Cole; his sisters, Bobbie (Alden) Powell, Geneva Stafford; his brothers, Johnny (Bernice) Clark, James (Linda) Clark, Jr., Billy Clark, Anthony (Sandra) Carridine; a sister-in-law, Barbara Clark; an aunt, Susie Mae Perry of Orlando, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
