The funeral services for the late Little Miss Brook'Lynn Aaliyah Harris, who departed this life on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Egleston Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 12:00 Noon from the Unity Baptist Church in Sylvester, Georgia. Reverend Harold James, Sr. will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Shepard Memorial Garden in Sylvester, Georgia. Miss Brook'Lynn Aaliyah Harris was born on May 9, 2014 in Albany, Georgia to Mr. William Harris, Sr. and Ms. Sharronda McKinney.

Brook'Lynn attended school in the Worth County Public School System. She completed the 3rd grade as an exceptional reader and she received multiple writing awards. She was one of the Top Achievers in her class. She played Tee-Ball with the Worth County Recreation Department. Brook'Lynn’s dream was to attend Princeton University, in Princeton, New Jersey.

Brook'Lynn loved to make friends. She was a social butterfly at Worth County Elementary School. She was our Tik-Tok “Princess” and loved to dance, sing, and she was very artistic. Brook'lynn was loved by so many of her teachers, classmates, and friends. To know her was to love her. She most definitely left a lasting impression on so many love ones, friends, and the community of Worth County. She was absolutely genuine, outspoken, sassy, ridiculously funny and most definitely beautiful. She will continue to stay with us through memories and the laughs she forced us to endure whether we were in the mood or not. We are so proud of what Brook'Lynn accomplished in her short time on Earth. She will forever live in our hearts. Brook'lynn will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Brook'Lynn entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, July 7, 2023 at the age of 9. She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Johnnie Mae Schenck, and her paternal great-grandfather, William Harris.

Brook'Lynn's love and memories will be cherished by her parents, William Harris, Sr. and Sharronda McKinney, both of Sylvester, Georgia; three brothers, William Harris, Jr., DaiSean Harris, both of Timmonsville, South Carolina, Drake Harris of Sylvester, Georgia; four sisters, La'Tavia Harris, Ashya Harris, both of Timmonsville, South Carolina, Sher'Miah Donaldson, Noelle Harris, both of Sylvester, Georgia; grandparents, Jacqueline Harris of Albany, Georgia, Harold James, Sr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Donna McKinney of Sylvester, Georgia, John Morris of New Brunswick, New Jersey; Great-grandmother, Beatrice Walker of Albany, Georgia; one nephew, NyKamron Grimes of Timmonsville, South Carolina; one niece, Amiriahanna Harris of Timmonsville, South Carolina; special friends and family, Noelle Harris (favorite sister), Hakima McKinney (aunt), Ka'Layah Evans (favorite cousin); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, godparents, and friends.

A Birthday Celebration of Life will be held at the residence at 105 Middle Trail, Sylvester, Georgia on Saturday evening, July 29, 2023, beginning at 5;00 p.m. Please allow the family the time interval after the funeral services to compose themselves and prepare to receive family and friends.
