Obituary For Benjamin Jason Walker

The funeral services for the late Mr. Benjamin Jason Walker of 340 Haley St., Ashburn, Georgia, who departed this life on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Pruitt Healthcare in Macon, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 12:00 Noon from the Greater St. Luke Baptist Church in Ashburn, Georgia. Elder James Patterson will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Westview Memorial Cemetery in Ashburn, Georgia. Services may be viewed Facebook Live from the "Shipps Funeral Home" Facebook page or by clicking the Video Stream link on this site's Home Page.

Mr. Benjamin Jason Walker (better known as "Boss") was born in Ashburn, Georgia on March 7, 1983, to Mr. Ben Walker and Mrs. Alice Mobley Ross. Benjamin was educated in the Turner County Public School System and graduated from Turner County High School in 2001. Benjamin was a fun-loving individual who was considered to be the "life of the party". He was fond of his late-model cars, music, jewelry, and rims. His lively personality and sense of humor made him a popular figure among his family and friends. He truly valued the time he spent with his loved ones. On Saturday, April 22, 2023, Benjamin gave up this busy walk of life at Pruitt Healthcare in Macon, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Raven Walker, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jabo and Sally Walker. Benjamin leaves to cherish his memories to a devoted wife of fourteen years, Jazmin Mitchell Walker; six loving children, Ja’Kerria Walker, J’Son Walker, Benjamin Walker, Zyden Walker, Kamarley Walker, Keirsyn Jai Walker; loving parents, Ben (Lue) Walker, Alice Mobley (Robert) Ross; four siblings, Alicia Mobley, Derek (Tanyanna) Walker, Brandon Bennett, Kanesha Walker; grandparents, Willie (Ozella) Mobley, Gwendolyn Davis; one goddaughter, Katlyn Bateman; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
