Good morning in THE NAME OF JESUS
I have known Ivan since we were little kids at Goodwill Baptist Church. Were a team at church and it was a joy singing with him in the choir. We had many great times together and we will miss him. I met Ivan in the fall of 1969 as a fellow freshman at the College of William and Mary. He was charming, witty, a really good singer, and a great football player. He was often with a group of us in the Cpis Center between classes or visiting in the dorms. I am sure he was an inspiring minister because of his infectious enthusiasm. My condolences to his family, congregation, and friends.
My sincere condolences on the passing of Ivan. He was a member of the class of 69 at John Marshall High School and a neighbor of Brookfield Gardens in 1964. Ivan was talented in football and music. He was a friend to all who knew him. He will truly be missed. God, comfort his family and friends as they endure this loss. May Ivan rest in eternal peace. Valerie R. Johnson

My sincere condolences to Rev. Stovall's family and friends. His and my Class of 1973 at William & Mary recently celebrated a 50th Reunion. Football fans celebrated Ivan's role as a member of one of best W&M teams ever that went to the 1970 Tangerine Bowl. I knew him more by reputation, but prayers are lifted up. Debra Prillaman
My sincere condolences to the family. All of the class of 1969 at John Marshall High School will remember Ivan as a great quarterback and as the lead singer for King Edward and the BDs. He excelled at both. Tamara Lucas Copeland
