Nathaniel Allen Trapp, 41, of Richmond, gained his wings on November 14, 2021. He was born April 14, 1980 to the late Nathaniel Allen Gaines and Beatrice Athea Trapp. Nathaniel loved his wife and his family massively. He was known by his smile that would brighten up the darkest room. He was generous, loving and had a great sense of humor. Surviving are his wife, LaSharnda Trapp; children, NaQuon Trapp and Jermia Mathews; granddaughter, Miracle Mathews; mother, Beatrice Trapp; paternal grandmother, Florine Gaines; brothers, Dana and Ricardo Trapp, Nathaniel Sabir El-Bey, James Merriman and Anthony Gaines; three sisters, Kim Mills, Ebony Trapp and Tierra Russell; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 24. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 26 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Interment Washington Memorial Park.
