Marjorie Ann Cunningham, 81, of Richmond, died December 25, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Major G. Cunningham, Jr. Surviving are her son, Kevin E. Gardner (Dr. Terry G.); four granddaughters, Kierra Puller (Antonio), Kiana Hardy, Kyndra Gardner and Katrina Fleetwood (Johnathon); seven great grandchildren, brother, Stuart L. Gardner (Gloria); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd, where the viewing will be held Thursday, January 2 from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., followed by the family receiving friends in Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd, from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2025 at Trinity Baptist Church, 2811 Fendall Ave. Rev. A. Lincoln James, officiating. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens.

Sis Ann was such a blessing to the seniors at the Rva urban league in the 1980 's before She was a senior herself. My mother love Ann, alway telling me the things Ann did to lift the Seniors spirits. Her life was a song she sung daily to her neighbors. I will remember "Mary did you know " because the way Ann sung it.
