Lottie Mae Ruffin Oates of Richmond, departed this life May 5, 2021. Surviving are her daughter Lanney Oates; two grandsons, Christopher K. and Khalil S. Oates; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Jacqueline R. McAllister and Diane Ruffin; brother, William "Berry" Ruffin, a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd, where a walk through viewing will be held Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Rev. Arthur S. Jones, officiating. Interment private.
