Lillian Ann Brooks, 85, of Mechanicsville, departed this life March 5, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Henry Lewis, Sr. and Golden Lewis. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, William I. Brooks, Sr. and brother, Henry Lewis, Jr. Surviving are her loving and devoted children, Ollie Lewis (Ann), Loretta Demby (Ernest, Sr.), William Brooks, Jr., Herbert Brooks, Robert L. Brooks (Barbara) and Leo Brooks, Sr. (Lilia); 23 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Taylor, Lillie Matthews and Emily Allen; two brothers, George Lewis and James Lewis (Letha); other relatives and devoted friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2024 and Monday, March 11. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 11 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Interment private.
