Larry O. Lester, 64, of Richmond, died November 9, 2021. Surviving are his sister, Princess L. Smith; niece, Sade N. Smith; nephew, Jerrod O. Smith; great niece, Journi Smith; devoted friends, Sherri Witlock, Veronica Smith, Cindi Branch, Gary Peagas and Nita Lester; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Wednesday, November 17 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 18 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. There are no words this morning to express my sadness. Larry was a dear dear friend. I met Larry at Verizon in Fairfax, VA. lost contact for about a year. When I did locate him, it was on again!! I can tell you some stories about Larry and I but the stories would have you rolling in the floor. Larry, I will see you when I get to heaven. Our condolences go out to the family of Larry Lester. We have known Larry for years dating back to our High School days at John Marshall. Larry was always very funny, outgoing and easy to become a friend. He may be gone to eternity but he has definitely left a legacy.
