Janet D. Claiborne, 75, of Henrico, died May 2, 2022. Surviving are her husband, Richard Claiborne, Sr.; mother, Lena Clarke; daughter, Ja Nycc Claiborne; son, Richard Claiborne, Jr. (Leatrice); two grandchildren, Briana and Aliya Claiborne; great granddaughter, Saliyah; step brother, Herbert Pettiford; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Monday, May 9 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 10 at St Peter Baptist Church, 2040 Mountain Road. Dr. Kirkland Walton, officiating. Interment Third Union Baptist Church Cemetery, King William, Va.
