Deacon Howard Lightfoot always had something humorous to say that made everyone laugh on the church van. His good spirit will truly be missed. I'm praying that your family finds comfort and joy. My thoughts and prayers to the family. I will always remember "Howard Lightfoot" as one of the church leaders at Rising Mt. Zion who helped "push" me into my "spiritual destiny..." I refused him three times before I finally said yes to take the duty as Superintendent of Sunday School. He mentored, and encouraged me often. He has indeed left a legacy, as it was during my tenure that I studied, prepared, and prayed as never before, then accepted my "Call into the Ministry" He will always be remembered for who/where God has me today.
