Obituary For Eugene Harrison Marrow
Eugene Harrison Marrow, 77, of Ashland, departed this life February 4, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Julia Marrow, his daughter, Natasha Marrow; three brothers, Louis, James and Washington Marrow and sister, Ruth Harris.
Surviving are his wife, Gwendolyn L. Marrow; son, Jonathan Eugene Marrow and granddaughter, Janiah Michaela Marrow; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mr. Marrow retired from Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority and served in the United States Navy.
Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd, where viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2025. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, February 17, at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd., Dr. Vincent Smith, pastor of Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Sandston Va., officiating. Dear Elder Marrow and Jonathan, sending my thoughts and prayers to you all in the passing of your husband and father. Mr. Eugene was a good man full of knowledge and experience. I remember as a kid he took me under his wing and taught me the media ministry and basics of sound engineering at CTB East. I will never forget the investments of time and wealth of knowledge he made in me. Praying that God will give you all peace and comfort during this time bereavement. Love you all!
