Devin Javon Pearson, 34, of Richmond, was called to be with his Heavenly Father October 15, 2020. His mother, Donna B. Harris, died October 13, 2020 and his aunt, Jean Bryant, died October 8, 2020. Surviving are his grandfather, George Pearson (Joan); stepfather, Kenneth Harris; two aunts, Toni Baker (James) and Jasmine Pearson; two uncles, Kevin and Wayne (Isabell) Pearson; step-brother, Kenneth Johnson; step-sister, Kendra Callahan; two step-aunts, Betty Brewer and Katy Marshall (Kermit); a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, October 25, Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, October 26 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Dr. Robert A. Winfree officiating. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Live streaming at scottsfuneralhome.com

Delvin you loved old school music . He would come to the dances with his mom and dance so much .Delvin would stay on the floor sweating until your shirt was Soak and wet. Donna his mom had to make him sit down to dry off before going out side . You thought I was your girl friend until you got one from your work place . Donna told you to tell me "you to old " You said it with Your silly grin . I'm sorry you had to do soon . I will keep you tucked away in my heart .... Love you always Rest In Peace

Devin, I haven't seen you for awhile due to everything being closed down. The news of your passing was a shock to me, and others that knew you. You were a gentle giant if there ever was one. I wanted you to know that there are several of us that loved you and will miss you. I will always remember you listening to music, moving your head and smiling.
