Darryl was always a gentleman and I will always be thankful for his legal assistance and friendship.
Darryl was a great person with a big heart. I will remember his smile and his one of a kind laugh. He was one of my biggest supporters. He participated in bible study with me, came to both of my college graduations, and assisted my dad with accessing better healthcare when he got sick. Our family will not be the same without him. I appreciate everything he did to help me along the way. I will never forget him.

Mrs. Parker, as you know, I worked for and with Darryl for many years in his law practice. He was my mentor in many areas of law and we did many cases and appeals together, even to the United States Supreme Court. I miss his wit and intelligence. Darryl was not only my big brother, but my best friend. Darryl took his job of being a big brother seriously. From the younger years when he purchased my first leather jacket to paying off my tickets that I would never pay. Not only was he an amazing brother, but an amazing uncle, son, husband, nephew and friend to anyone in need. Darryl was truly a positive person which provided a great role model to follow. I will truly miss this man of God, but look forward to seeing Darryl again one day.
Monica, I thank you for sharing Darryl with us. He was always concerned about how someone else was doing. My mom would say just in talking she might say she wanted this or that. The next day Darryl was right there with something. Monica if there's anything you need me to do feel free to let me know. Darryl was about the work of God and he lived it. You have my deepest sympathy. Ernest, Melinda, and the rest of the family you have my sympathy also.
Darryl was a great man with great ambitions especially when it came to justice. He helped my son and my friend on many many issues with no hesitation. Darryl and his wife Monica were and are family, it hurt when I received the call from your wife of your passing. May you Rest In Peace knowing that your time here on earth was so well worth it, to myself and others. Gonna miss ya my brother
I was so sorry and shocked to hear of Darryl's passing. After we graduated from John Marshall High School together, we started VUU at the same time. He was one of my closest friends through college. We shared a few classes and a lot of laughs together. Even though we had not spoken in some time, I always thought of him and the good times we had. I want to express my most sincere condolences to his family. Darryl was a good man, a good friend and I will never forget him.
God Bless and give you all peace Darryl will truly be missed. He was a great man. Amen

Darryl, i will write later. I feel sooo incredibly sad. You're in a better place now ... no more pain. But i feel so bad for my bestie, your wife Monica.
You will forever be loved.
Mrs. Parker, I did not have the pleasure of meeting you while Daryl was living but all I can say, just like many others, was that your husband was a terrific Brother and fellow attorney-in-arms. Daryl and I were licensed with the bar around the same time. I might not see your husband for over a year but when I would see him at Court or on the fly going somewhere, he always had time to kick it with me. Your husband had a great sense of humor and at times, I thought that that he needed to try and hone his skills as a comedian at one of the Improv Comedy Clubs in New York. I will miss Brother Daryl but look forward to seeing him in Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ and God the Father!!! Rest in peace my Brother. Mrs. Parker, please rest assured and be at peace that we will see Daryl very soon in Heaven!!! Be blessed.
My love, you have received your wings and gone on to glory, and I am certain you have received God's approval as a "good and faithful servant." You were the best husband a wife could ask for and I thank God for bringing us together. Your kind, caring and gentle spirit has impacted my life forever. It's hard to know I will not see you physically anymore, but I will cherish and love you until I depart this earth to be with you again. Thank you for being a wonderful husband, for helping me to become a better person, and for our beautiful life together!
Your wife eternally
Old Parker, as I affectionately called you, you will be missed buddy. I can hear you talking about some of the crazy stuff I did back in the law school days. We were so afraid of the professors in school. I remember the times when we went to New Orleans and other times we were together. We really knew how to have a good time. You were the one person who said T, I will stay up all night with you and be there so you to can pass this test. For that I thanked him all the time. He was the best friend anyone could have. I could go on but I just wanted his family and wife to know how much he will be missed and who he was to me.

I graduated from law school with Darryl and loved him like a brother. He was a great guy who was always prepared for big moments. He, Tennessee and I was like the rat pack and often met up to socialize at resturants, bars etc. My deepest and heartfelt sympathy goes out to his wife and family. Darryl will surely be missed.
