I worked with Brenda at Westover Hills Elementary School and at The Youth Discovery Academy of St. Paul's Baptist Church for many years. Brenda loved to nurture and teach children. She was dedicated and devoted to making a difference in the lives of every child she met. She was funny, caring, lovable and she enjoyed life to the fullest. No doubt she is teaching a child in Heaven right now! Teach on Brenda! C Foy Moses

I always loved Brenda and cared for her Aunt Marie
Ms. Brenda, You were a force for good in this world! It's hard to believe you are gone as you were so full of life on this earth. You cared for the children you taught in and outside of the classroom. When you weren't teaching you were working with election protection and drove countless people to the polls. You were a foot solider for civil rights, using your God given talents and your voice to stand up for those who crossed your path. I am honored to have know you and called you my friend. It will take more than one of us to fill your shoes and the many hats you wore. I know you are at peace with the Lord, but we will still miss you. Love Always, JP
