Mr. William Henry Taylor was born on October 04, 1948 to the late Mrs. Mary Wilson Taylor and the late Mr. William Taylor
He graduated from Pinevale High School in 1966.
He served in the United States Army for two years during this time he received the Army Commendation National Defense Service Medal, First Class Gunner Medical, Vietnam Service Medal, Purple heart, and Bronze Star Medal. He was employed at MR&R Trucking, K-Mart, First Line, Larc and Lowndes County Options.
He was preceded in death by his sister Agatha McCoy Hampton.
He leaves to cherish his memories: four daughters: Samantha (Wayne) Felton of Lakeland, Ga, Yolanda (Jamie) Walker of Valdosta, Ga., Tarasha Collier of Beaver Creek, Ohio, and Tameka Taylor of Jacksonville, Fl., one sister Ella Neloms of Valdosta, Ga., three nieces: Tracy (Daryl) House of Thomasville, Ga, Cynthia Millian of Valdosta, Ga, and La Marcyia Wing of Atlanta, Ga.; one nephew Lonnie Hampton of Atlanta, Ga, eleven grandchildren: Brianna, Alisha, Kenyanna, Mahogoni, Kenny, Frederick, Ayanna, Cedric, Mya, Tarasha, Channing; one great-nephew Taylor House of Thomasville, Ga., and a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Home going service for Mr. William Henry Taylor will be held on Saturday, April 6, at 11:00 A. M. at Scott and Roberts Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Norman Edwards, officiating. Burial will follow Monday, April 8 at 10:00 A. M. at the Tallahassee National Cemetery. Scott and Roberts Mortuary
