Ms. Vera Lee Davis was born June 22, 1944 in Valdosta, Georgia, to the late Moses and Hazel L. Davis.
She was educated in the Lowndes County School System; she graduated from Westside High School.
She was employed by the hotel industries in Lowndes County, Valdosta, Georgia.
She was a member of Thomas Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Vera Lee Davis departed this life on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents Moses and Hazel L. Davis; her sister Johnnie Mae Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memorial, a loving sister Madeline Brown; two brothers Moses Davis Jr. and James E. Davis. She was never married but has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and caring friends.
A Celebration of Life for Sister Vera Lee Davis will be held on Saturday, December 21 at 11:00 A. M. at Thomas Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Dr. Salary is the pastor, and Dr. William C. Morgan will officiated. Burial will follow in the Pallbearer Cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Friday, December 20 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 P. M.
