Minnie Lee Conaway Freeman was born November 17, 1930 in Lowndes County Georgia to the late James “Jim” and Etta Jones Conaway. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late James Fred Freeman. She transitioned to her heavenly home on Friday July 1, 2022 @ 2:02pm.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Willie James and Billy Conaway; Nephews: (like a son)Theodore “Theodis” Conaway Sloan, Will Conaway, Gregory Conaway: Nieces; Willie Lee Conaway, Bernice Conaway, Lisa Conaway Hayes, Maudine Conaway: Great Nephew; Carry Conaway.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and devoted Son-in-law: Geraldine and Innis Davis, a devoted niece (like a daughter) Alma Brinkley Thomas (Fred – Deceased);Four grandchildren: Sulanda Jackson (Michael) of Lake Park, GA, Innis Davis Jr. (Debra) of Pensacola, Fl, Brigette Davis McGriff (Matthew) of Valdosta, GA, Jerald “Keith” Davis (Shronda) of Dallas, Ga, and Devin Thomas of Valdosta, Ga.: Devoted cousin (like a sister) Cindy Smith of St. Petersburg, FL: Devoted (like a son) Aldophis Butler Jr. of Valdosta: Great-Grandchildren; Nyesha, Carl Jr., Ashley, Sevonte, Jerald Jr., Jarvis, Alesha, Jacenia, I’Lynta, JeKaeyisah, Niejel, Jy’Kel, Keveon, MacKinzey, Amaris, Aiyanni: Special Nieces; Shirley Flucas (Dale), Ann Conaway, Catherine Conaway Phillips (Tony), Angela Pittman, Jaticia Jelks: Faithful, Lorraine Conaway Moseley, and Kimberly Dudley cousins; Evelyn Chester, Susie Donaldson and a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Home going service for Ms. Minnie Conaway Freeman will be held on Sunday, July 10, at 2:30 P. M. at River Hill Missionary Baptist Church, and burial will follow in the Troupeville Cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Friday, July 8 from 1:00 P M til 7:00 P. M. and Saturday, July 9 from 10:00 A M til 5:00 P M Blessing from the mortuary that cares.
