Education: Janice graduated in the Valdosta High School class of 1976. Valdosta Technical College-Early Childhood education certificate/degree.
Community Activities: President of the AARP, MLK Committee, Southside Library, Hospice of South Georgia, and Class reunion committee.
Ms. Janice passion was decorating. She would decorate for birthday's, Christmas, and any event she could put decorations up. She loved celebrating and fellowshippping with others. She was a die hard Valdosta Wildcat and Dallas Cowboys fan.
Christian Experience: She was a faithful member at Macedonia First Baptist Church for over twenty-eight years. Ms. Sirmans was on the deaconess board, hospitality committee, and wherever she could assist.
She was preceded in death by her father Isaiah Isom, son Broderick Isom and daughter Amber Sirmans; also her godson and nephew Bric Courtney.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Deidre Rountree; son Kenneth Sirmans, Jr. (Dorrissa); her children’s father Kenneth Sirmans, Sr.; two brothers Ronald Isom (Lorna) and Jerryl Isom (Tira); sister Renee’ Courtney (Fred); five grandchildren Jackson Rountree, Brayden Rountree, Kai’leigh Sirmans, Kenneth Sirmans III, and Kailynn Sirmans; son-in-law Anthony Rountree, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews.

Home going services for Ms. Janice Yvonne Isom Sirmans will be held on Saturday, February 10 at 10:00 A. M. at Macedonia First Baptist Church with Rev. Corie Goss, pastor, officiating.
