God’s Precious Little Angel Gernard Vanquez, Harris Jr.

I was born to my wonderful parents Tiona S. Miller and Gernard V. Harris, Sr. on August 15, 2022, and our family resided in Ray City, Georgia. Our little family, attended Evans Temple Holiness Church in Lakeland, Georgia. On October 25, 2024, God pick a little flower, which was me, to make His garden more beautiful to view.

When I arrived to my Heavenly home, I was greeted with a smile from my great grandparents, who took me in their arms Betty Jean Harris, Willie J. Lane, Willie R Ratliff and Arleatha Ratliff and they said Welcome Home.

Now to those I leave behind Mom Tiona S. Miller and dad Gernard V. Harris, Sr. thank you for taking care of me these two years it was a short time that I was here, but I want you to know that I thank God for wonderful parents like you; to my siblings, I am going to miss you like you are going to miss me there is no love like your love Alaia M. Harris and Ty’la D. Harris; and my beloved grandparents I know you cared and loved me very much; I saw the joy that I brought to you Kim Miller, Bruce Hopgood (Kendall) Denisa Scott, Roanda Scott Sr. Tiree Harris (Tonya); now no one loved me like my great-grandparents, they thought that I was the most precious baby Vernice Smith (Andy), Earnestine Miller, Owens Miller Sr. To my aunts thank you for spoiling me during this time Tamia Miller, Mailay Harris, Ti’onya Harris; and finally to my uncles, I know that my time on earth was short, but remember the times, we had together Johnathan Harris, Sr. (Alexis), Roanda Scott Jr. Elisha Prude, Isaiah Prude; and to my great aunts, great uncles, and cousin; you do not have to worry about where I am at, because I am with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, because I made it home safe and I am in his care.

Celebration service of God's Precious Little Angel Gernard Vanquez Harris, Jr. will be held on Saturday, November 9 at 3:00 P. M. at Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church in Hahira, Georgia. Rev. Tony Jackson is the pastor and Rev. Owens Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery.
