Manning, SC
Ryan Patrick Harrison, son of the late Elinda Gayle Harrison was born November 8, 1979 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was reared by his grandfather and grandmother, the late Deacon Joe Nathan Harrison and Andretta Houston Harrison.
He received his formal education in the public schools of Clarendon School District Two and graduated from Manning High School in 1998. After graduation, he attended Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina.
At an early age, he joined Light Hill Baptist Church in the Foreston Community where he sang on the Youth Choir.
On Wednesday, September 1, 2021, Ryan Patrick Harrison departed this earthly life at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee, Florence, South Carolina.
He leaves to cherish his memory, one aunt, Betty King of Tacoma, WA; two uncles, Jonathan (Kathleen) Harrison and Kirby Harrison both of Manning, SC; six grand aunts: Virgiree Pendergrass and Mildred Rouse both of Charleston, SC, Cynthia Snyder and Susie Murray both of Manning, SC, Ruth Kennedy and Mary Jane Green both of Baltimore, MD; four grand uncles, Lun (Sarah) Houston, Salters, SC, Truman Houston, Charleston, SC, Henry Hilton, Kingstree, SC and Samuel Harrison, Baltimore, MD; a cousin reared as a brother, Travis Harrison; special friends, Debra Blocker, Devante Blocker Ware and Dynasty Tillman; a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Mr. Harrison were held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Junky Yard Cemetery, Manning, SC.
To my cousin Ryan, Such a kind and friendly soul. I think about the times when we were younger and you attended my birthday parties. I look at those photos and it brings so many memories back, not all of them are sad, some of them make me smile. You will be greatly missed my sweet cousin. Love you, but God loves you best!
