Little Miss Ja’Miracle Journee Brown, affectionately known as “JB” and “Journee Mae” was born on March 17, 2020 in Manning, South Carolina to her proud parents, Jeremy Brown of Sumter, South Carolina and Brittany Spann of Manning, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Victor Rose.

Journee was called to her eternal resting place on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at McLeod Health Clarendon of Manning, South Carolina. She leaves to cherish her memories, her parents, Brittany Spann of Manning, SC and Jeremy Brown of Sumter, SC; sisters, Aanaijah Spann of the home and Jaʹmai Brown of Columbia, SC; nine brothers, Jaquez Blanding of the home, Tykeem Bradley, Jermain Brown, Rayshawn Bradley all of Manning, SC, Zayvion White, and Tylis Prince both of Sumter, SC, Jahmir Brown, Jeremy Brown, Jr. and Jontve Deas of Columbia, SC; maternal grandparents, Larry Morris of Manning, SC and Barbara Spann Morris of Pinewood, SC; paternal grandmother, Joann Brown of Columbia, SC; great, great grandmother, Rosa Severance Morris of Summerton, SC; aunts, Phylicia Morris of Pinewood, SC, Tierra Hilton, Kimberly Doughty both of Manning, SC, Shaquan Brown, Veronica Nelson (James) Benbow both of Columbia, SC, Tameka Coouvon, of Bronx, NY, and Kassandra Hilton of South Dakota; uncles, Eric Wells of Lithonia, GA, Victor Rose, Jr. of New York, Reginald Doughty of Manning, SC; cousin reared as an aunt, Cathering Reardon; special uncles, Jaquan Hardy and Javon Hardy both of Manning, SC; special grandmother, Stacie (Kenyon) Harvin, Manning, SC; godmother, Heather Yarbough, Sumter, SC; godfathers, Shawn Hardy, Manning, SC and Benjamin Holmes, Georgetown, SC; several great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services were held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St., Manning, SC. Burial followed at New Hope Community Cemetery, Pinewood, SC.

The family received friends at the home of her grandmother, Barbara Morris, 1158 St. Mark Road, Pinewood, SC.
