Turbeville, SC Edith Howard Burgess, 89, widow of Roland Lee Burgess, Sr., died Friday March 17, 2023 at Pocotaligo Nursing Home, Manning, SC. She was born August 22, 1933 in New Zion, SC. A daughter of the late Eugene Fleetwood Howard and Sallie Mae Jenning Howard.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 4342 Greeleyville Hwy, Manning, SC. Burial will follow in the Burgess Evergreen Cemetery, New Zion, SC.

I have so many fond memories of you growing up and when you were staying here in Columbia. We did have lots of good times. They will forever be in my heart! You have always been such a Lady...not a hair out of place (smiles) and with a Beautiful smile to match.
