Sorry for the loss of your love one. Please accept our sincere sympathy and prayers.
I am Lawrence Youngblood Jr.,the oldest son of Erline & Lawrence. My fondest memories of cousin Curline was always the rest stop from N.Y. Headed south to see family. She would feed us and we would shoot skyrockets and fire crackers. Then tell my father to fill up A tank of gas, for the trip back home..Bless you cousin, We know you've seen it all.. After many phone conversations, she would end with Bye Bye for Now! Lawrence and Debra
Condolences going out to family. I remember coming down from NY to see cousins Curleen with my parents Erline and Lawrence Youngblood when I was just about 8 years old. We would always stop at the store and gas station and she would always make sure that we left with candy + souse or hog head cheese. Pulled pork sandwiches, and some skins. I remember one time when we were down there, Me and my brother Steven and Dad and and all the guys and the men folks hog in a big pot up boiling water and they cut the hog's throat. The hog started yelling. Oh my Lord oh my Lord. They were serving fresh bacon the next morning Me and Steven was like were like Oh no we can't eat that hog LOL. As we got older and we were old enough to drive and have our own families, we would bring our kids down to see cousin Curlene and she would do the same thing for us. Make sure that we have a pulled pork sandwiches gas in the tank before he left to go back to New York. It's funny how the pull pork sandwiches never made it past south of the border. Cousin Curlene was one of the nicest people you'd wanted to meet. She's gone to heaven now and resting with the rest of the Angels and there's no more pain. God bless you.
Aunt Curlene you ran this race and you kept the Faith, rest in Jesus name Your niece Rochelle Witherspoon
My Condolences to my family and her Daughter. I loved Curlene a lot and always would call her to talk, even when my mother Gracie E.Witherspoon Blakney would take us to her house and the store on Sugar Hill. You will be miss but forgotten. You earn your wings.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
