Barbara Lee Nelson, 69, widow of Saul Nelson, died Friday, April 10, 2020 at her residence, 111 Ann Park, Sumter, SC. She was born April 17, 1950 in Manhattan, NY, a daughter of the late Robert Williams and Bessie Williams Hines.
Graveside services for Mrs. Nelson will be held 2:00PM Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Melina Presbyterian Church, 3539 Black River Road, Gable, SC. Rev. Samuel Sparks, Pastor, officiating.
The CDC advises limiting gatherings to 10 people or less. Public viewings will follow this recommendation. No more than ten people at a time will be allowed in the funeral home for viewing. Public viewing is limited to two hours from 4:00 PM til 6:00 PM for those that can be viewed. Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), graveside services have been limited to immediate family with 15 people or less. We are asking our families to help us inform other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving friends at the home of her sister-in-law, Diane Nelson, 1194 Butterfly Lane, Gable, SC.
Mrs. Barbara was my friend. I missed seeing her at her formal residence.I am so sorry to have to hear about this this way. May her soul find peace from this world of trouble. LOVE YOU MRS.B!!
