Alene Moses Hammett, 95, died Friday, December 23, 2022 in Buffalo, NY. She was born August 6, 1927 in Alcolu, SC, a daughter of the late John Sr. and Maggie Pressley Moses.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Cypress Fork AME Church, Alcolu, SC. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
