Obituary For Thurman "Gene" Knight
With many having mixed emotions and understandably broken hearts, S. Jones F. and C. has been given the solemn duty to serve notice that Mr. Thurman Eugene Knight, 54, of Halifax, NC closed the curtains of this life on September 2, 2019 in Halifax, NC.
The family has reserved Friday, September 13, 2019 for family and friends to pay their respect during a visitation that is to be held 4 pm - 7 pm in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations.
A Celebration of Life will be held 12 pm, Saturday, September 14, 2019 in the sanctuary of Evangelistic Church of Deliverance 22 E 2nd St, Weldon, NC 27890.
Interment will follow in the Enfield Memorial Cemetery.

Thurman was a employee of mine and I got to know him and his family very well. I was shocked and in deep sorrow to hear of his passing. He became my friend and lunch partner. May he sleep in peace in the arms of the Lord. Joseph Taybron
Suck a great person who gave so much of himself and never asked for anything in return. It deeply saddens me that he has been taken away from so many people you have touched.
