His Journey - Tevin Durrel Murphy.
Tevin was called home the early hours of January 26, 2024. He leaves a legacy of love with his parents, James “Red” Murphy, Sr(Valerie) and his mother, Denise Murphy, who preceded him in death. He was a graduate of East High School in Memphis, Tennessee and attended Lane College. He leaves to cherish his memory: 2 loving aunts, 6 children, 7 grandchildren and 6 siblings, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates, fraternity brothers and close friends.
Tevin was an avid sports enthusiast, with a love for books, as well as a passion for remodeling and reconstruction. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 9, 2024 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at RS Lewis Funeral Home, 2944 Walnut Grove Rd. Memphis, TN 38111. Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 10, 2024 at noon at The Healing Cathedral Christian Center 4523 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN 38116
Internment will be immediately following the service at Memorial Park Southwoods 5485 Hacks Cross Rd, Memphis, TN 38125
