Obituary For Reginald Elliott

Reggie was born on February 22, 1973, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Claranette Henderson (deceased) and Michael Elliott (deceased). He was the second of four siblings.

Reggie, as he was called, gave his life over to God as a young boy. He attended Union Grove Baptist Church. He attended Hillcrest High School. Reggie obtained a trade in carpentry and worked as a painter. He also worked in the Memphis Schools.

Reggie always could put a smile on your face. He was a fighter in every way. No matter what challenges he faced, he never gave up and he trusted GOD to bring him out. He was a “PROTECTOR” of his family and friends!

Reggie was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Elliott (father) and Claranette Henderson (mother), and his brothers, Kevin Henderson and Kalunn Henderson.

Reggie is survived by his older brother, Corey Elliott. He leaves behind two children - his daughter, “his twin”, Shaneka Henderson, and his son, Ian Woods; aunts, Meleara (Hugh) Eulls, Regina Williams, and Teresa Marlowe; two uncles, Darrin (Jocelyn) Henderson and Ricky Henderson; several cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at RS Lewis & Sons 2944 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38111. Celebration of Life will be Friday, October 20, 2023 12:00 noon at Greater Mt. Moriah Baptist Church 1072 S Wellington St, Memphis, TN 38126

Internment will be in Memorial Park Southwoods 5485 Hacks Cross Rd, Memphis, TN 38125
