Born the first of two daughters to the union of James Murray Stinson and Linda Kay (Hamilton) Stinson on August 10, 1973.
LaTonya confessed her faith in Christ at Temple of Christ Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of the late Reverend Willie Clark.
LaTonya attended Wooddale Highe School and Shelby State Community College.
On December 31, 1992, LaTonya married the love of her life, Kevin Duane Moore, whereas three girls were birth from this union, Keioshsha Renee (Jaquavis) Surney; Kelsey Mikayla Moore; and Kerby Sheilinda Moore, along with tow grandchildren, Kaidence Renee "Kaide" Moore (5 years old) and Jaxon Ryan-Oliver Surney (5 months old). Compassionately referred to as "Meatball" by her granddaughter, LaTonya was the nucleus of the family
LaTonya was a former Memphis Police Compstat Gerneral clerk (in her earlier years) and most recently a dedicated and beloved professional Trumbukk Laboratories, LLC (Germantown, TN) for greater than 15+ years, unter her health challenges returned.
Together, LaTonya and Kevin joined and served Greater Imani Church & Christian Center for 16 years under the teachings of Apostle William Adkins Jr.
In 2019- prior to the COVID-19 pandemic LaTonya and Kevin fellowshipped with Hope Church under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Rufus Smith IV until her health declined . She departed this life Monday, August 16, 2021 at home in the presence of her loving family by her side.
LaTonya leaves to cherish her loving husband of 28 years; her parents; three daughters; one son-in-law; two grandchildren; one sister, Lamikia Stinson; one brother-in-law, Christopher (Tracey) Johnson; and a host of loving Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and former Co-workers to cherish her memory
The family will receive friends Wednesday August 25, 2021 from 4-6 pm at RS Lewis 2944 Walnut Grove Rd. Memphis, TN 38111. Funeral service will be held Thursday August 26, 2021 at Hope Church at 12 noon. Funeral service will be livestreamed through RS Lewis Funeral Home Facebook Page. Internment will be after the service at Memphis Memorial Gardens
