My dear Thomas. I was heart broken when I heard the news. We lost touch for a minute but we always found our way back to our great friendship. I remember all of our long conversations while I was driving home from work. You know, I recall you saying that you wouldn't live to be an old man. You knew something that I didn't. Me writing this is therapy for me. I miss you Thomas. May you rest in peace. My friend with the beautiful eyes. I love you.

My sincerest condolences are extended to The Family. Uncle Charles and Aunt Marion always looked forward to his visits to Washington, DC. Tom and Tod would come to visit their grandmother every summer and two weeks of that time were spent with us. He would share how much Charles and I meant to him and the role we played in is life. That meant so much to me and he did not waiver when Charles died.
Uncle Charles and Aunt Marion saw him through grammar school, junior and senior high school, college, medical school, the birth of his child, into his medical practice and marriage. He has been a part of my life and he made me a part of his life. Not a month passed by when we didn't talk; he shared his life with me. Tom always reminded me that we were not only his parents' friends, but we were his friends also. I will always cherish our times together. We have shared many moments from childhood into adulthood, until last month. I feel as though I have lost a son. We were so close ... I will miss him terribly.
Our sincerest condolences and prayers to the Motley family. The Weathers family.
To the Motley family, Thomas was a high school classmate of mine. He was smart, kind and witty and it was always a joy to be in his company. I will indeed cherish those fond memories. I wish you comfort and peace. Mishia Shaw Thomas, Central High Class of 1984

Thomas Motley, what is a talent and caring individual who was always positive and encouraging other people. I remember how proud his grandmother was of him and of course his entire family is proud of everything he accomplished. The most important part was who he was and how he persisted in living life to the fullest.
Thomas gave me the wonderful gift of my niece Chelsie and I will always love him for that! He was a good man and will truly be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. My Prayers to Chelsie, Grandad, and the entire Motley family and friends. Rest In Heaven King!
