DONALD WAS BORN IN FT. LEWIS, WASHINGTON TO SFC ROGERS L. EMORY AND EVALENA WILSON EMORY. HE GREW UP IN MEMPHIS, TN WITH HIS SIBLINGS ROGERS, JR, ROGELYNN EMORY (RON) ANDERSON, PAULA EMORY BEASLEY, LAURA EMORY MATTHEWS AND GERALD (TASHA) EMORY. HE GRADUATED FROM CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL AND LETTERED IN FOOTBALL AND TRACK.

MSGT EMORY WAS A DECORATED SOLDIER IN THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE AND SERVED ALL OVER THE WORLD AS A MILITARY POLICEMAN. HE COMPETED ON THE AIR FORCE'S FOOTBALL TEAM IN GERMANY. DONALD'S LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPERTISE LED TO POSITIONS WITH THE TENNESSEE AIR NATIONAL GUARD, SHELBY COUNTY SCHOOLS, AND SEVERAL MILITARY CONTRACTORS IN AFGHANISTAN AND IRAQ.

DONALD MARRIED CATHY DAVIS AND RAISED HIS TWIN SONS DEVIN EMORY AND DONALD (BRITTANY GOVAN) EMORY, JR. LOVINGLY AND PROUDLY.

HE ENJOYED SPORTS, READING, AND DISCUSSING CURRENT EVENTS. HE LOVED HIS NETWORK OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS ESPECIALLY HIS DOG,EVE. HE LIVED HIS FAITH VICTORIOUSLY WHEREVER THE BATTLE TOOK HIM.

Services will be held at RS Lewis and Sons Funeral Home @ 2:00pm. Services will be available via Facebook @Rs lewis live stream

I realize I am very later, yet I had search for Donald for about five years ago with no real success. Him and I were stationed together at Buechel Air Base in Germany. He is missed by my wife and I. I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to the family.
