To Mama Higgins and the entire Higgins family! I am praying for and with you all in the loss of DeWayne. I've always been told that time heals but I know that nothing can take away the pain we are all feeling right now. God's plan is not our plan and even though we would have liked to keep DeWayne a little longer we know that he is in a far better place. DeWayne Man as you would often tell me, I was a pretty baby but I'm pretty ugly now. I knew when you said that you love me. It wouldn't be you if you didn't say that to me First before giving me a huge hug and saying I love you Blood!! Well let me return the favor DeWayne, you was a handsome baby but Man viewing your former house. You looked as if I could tap you on the shoulder, you'd say ugly girl what you want!! You look so peaceful, and still handsome with the Glow of the Glory of God upon your former house. I'm am going to truly miss you Blood. I don't know who's going to take your place as comedian of the family? But those are some huge shoes to fill!! Hey Cuz, I will be sure to keep up your private tradition with Aunt Ethel. I will see you when it's my time to crossover to the other side!! DeWayne if I had known Hosea was your middle name I would've used that years ago as when you checked me. Dewayne it was a pleasure to know you. Jimmy and I enjoyed the times we spent with you and Jennifer. DeWayne thankyou for caring so much about my niece Jennifer, you always made sure that she was taken care of. The love your family displayed was so caring and thoughtful. We will miss you. The loss of my friend, Dewayne is heartfelt,  but not final, knowing that he accepted Christ as his Savior, we will be reunited again.  We grieve not as those who have no hope, our hope is in Christ Jesus.

It hasn't always been easy but I could call on you to sometimes make it better. We didn't always see eye to eye or even agree, we had our ups and downs however, we always had a special understanding. When you called, I came and when I called, you came. You would always tell me that I am too soft on the kids and I needed to get tougher. I heard you, Now I have to do it on my own. However, When I call on you now, I still expect you to take a few seconds from your Heavenly party and help me 😊 I need your strength.
