Floyd. Our first encounter was in the Longview Jr. High Cafeteria on Burrito Day, he skipped me in line, let just say that never happened again😊 and he would not let it go, Pretty Rickey told everybody how we met. I will forever RESPECT and love my friend, in that order. He was a GIANT among men, a blessing to Christendom, Frayser Community, the City of Memphis. Long Live the Legacy of Apostle Rickey D. Floyd ! #Souff Memfis. Yet praying for his wife, children and Church family.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Floyd family as well as the Church family. May God give you all strength in this time of sorrow. Pastor Floyd will surely be missed. The Holy Chapel Baptist Church family will keep his memory alive.

Ambassador Dad RuRu and I am really going to miss you!!!! We are so devastatingly heartbroken about losing you but we are fortunate to have been blessed to have you in our lives as a high school friend, mentor to my son since he was 6 years old, members under your guidance, our spiritual father, our pastor, and our example of love, forgiveness, legacy, repentance, and reconciliation. We love you and we are truly praying for Pastor Sheila, Momma Ruthie, Christina, Amira, Ricky Jr., Pastor Brennan, Lady Brittney, Brinley, Beylah, your siblings, and all of your family.
