To the Dallas Family: We take this time to extend our personal condolences to the family of Paul Dallas. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family, and friends of the family during this hour of great sadness. May all grieving hearts please remember that God is well aware of the suffering that we are now dealing with, and has given us His personal promise that He would soon take action to reverse the effects of sin and death. This promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. In these verses, God tells us that He would soon cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. Yes, the recording of these words serves as a personal guarantee from God that the resurrection to life would surely take place. The restoring of life would take place because God is the source of life for all living things. ( Psalm 36:9) Even if a person dies, God has the power and the desire to restore life back to those who have fallen asleep in death. And to assist all to develop strong faith in this future promise, God has preserved nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about this grand blessing that is near at hand. Here is just one such example that is recorded at John 11:32-44. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Paul, and a great host of others in a very special way. So, in closing we encourage all to please keep this special promise of God near your heart at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
