The Restoration Baptist Church family extend condolences to the Larkin family during this time.. Bishop Clarence Stewart, Jr.. RIP Tracy!!!
I extend my sincere condolence to the family of Mr. Larkin. My acquaintance with him as Councilman was one of dignity and excellence toward his fellowman. He will sorely be missed.
In the l1970s, as producer-director of "HARAMBEE" (Ala Public TV, produced at Auburn Univ), I became a close friend of Mr. Tracy Larkin (who hosted my show with the late Norman Lumpkin and Gwen Patton). I shall always remember Tracy's genuine friendship, professionalism, respectful demeanor, concern for people, stimulating intellectual conversations , great laughs and help when I needed it. I shall remember him from the photo I took of him and his family, our brief conversation at the Mayor's inauguration and the deed he helped me accomplished for my family as a City Council member. Regrettably, since my return to Montgomery, our schedules did not allow more joint community involvement. Rest In Power. Rev. Dr. Viola Bradford
