Obituary For Dr. Hoyt Eugene Taylor
Dr. Hoyt Eugene Taylor was the elder son of the late Hoyt Lenton Taylor and Elizabeth Gregory Taylor. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Jimmie Lee Taylor. Dr. Taylor was born in Montgomery, Alabama on March 21, 1945.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Gail Brown Taylor; his daughter, Cappie Taylor Suttle (Christian); five grandchildren: Tatiana Taylor, Brennen Suttle, Mason Suttle, Connor Suttle, and Grant Suttle.
A memorial service was held on May 20, 2022, at Ross Clayton Funeral Home in Montgomery. We will miss his dry humor, his critical analysis of the written word, and his lively debates about football. The family appreciates the kindness and love shown to Hoyt throughout the years.
