Nuestra muy amada Evelyn Crouch-Ruiz falleció el pasado 28 de diciembre del 2020 a las 6:45pm en la unidad de cuidados de intensivo de Advent Health Heart of Florida de Haines City, FL.

Fue una excelente madre de tres hijos; Evelyn Aixa, Julio Irvin y Alex Raúl (1977-2009) Rivera-Crouch. Le sobreviven además de Evelyn y Julio sus nietos, que eran su adoración.

Familiares y amistades lamentan su gran pérdida y celebran haberla tenido en sus vidas.

La Dra. Evelyn Crouch-Ruiz afectó y dejó su humilde huella en muchas vidas, además de su familia. Fue profesora de enfermería por más de 45 años en las principales Universidad de Puerto Rico.

Estudió enfermería en la escuela interna del Antiguo Hospital San Lucas, en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico Recinto de Ponce, y obtuvo un PhD la Universidad de Texas en Austin y un Post Doctorado de la Universidad de California en San Francisco.

La ceremonia fúnebre será el próximo Martes, 5 de enero del 2020 en Richard's Funeral Home en Haines City, FL de 5pm a 8pm.

Capacidad para 25 personas, se requiere el uso de caretas y distanciamiento social.

Se aceptan flores si es su deseo las puede enviar para el Martes.

Our much loved Evelyn Crouch-Ruiz passed away on December 28, 2020 at 6:45 pm in the intensive care unit of Advent Health Heart of Florida in Haines City, FL.

She was an excellent mother of three children; Evelyn Aixa, Julio Irvin and Alex Raúl (1977-2009) Rivera-Crouch. She is survived in addition to Evelyn and Julio by her grandchildren, who were her adoration.

Family and friends mourn their great loss and celebrate having had it in their lives.

Dr. Evelyn Crouch-Ruiz affected and left her humble mark on many lives, in addition to her family. She was a nursing professor for more than 45 years at the main University of Puerto Rico.

She studied nursing at the boarding school of Antiguo Hospital San Lucas, at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, Ponce Campus, and obtained a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin and a Post-Doctorate from the University of California at San Francisco.

The funeral ceremony will be next Tuesday, January 5, 2020 at Richard's Funeral Home in Haines City, FL from 5pm to 8pm.

Capacity for 25 people, the use of masks and social distancing is required.

Evelyn I can not believe the reality. You were such a great cousin. I remember the years in P.r. when we spent so much time together. You were my rock in a much needed time for me. You were unconditional with your love and listened whenever I needed to talk. Thank you for being there for me! You will be terribly missed! The angels are celebrating their much needed angel has come home. I know you are with titi Juanita and Tio Everett! Watch over your family they will need you more than ever! I'm so so sorry for your loss Evelynsita y Julio! Love you both!!

To my second mom, I will miss you so much you were the best mother in law!!!
