SMITH - Cheryl Diane Smith a resident of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on July 13, 2023. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 10AM at The Sustainment Center Church, 1028 E. 10th Street. Mrs. Smith's remains will rest for visitation of family and friends on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 5-8PM at the CHURCH. Arrangements entrusted to the MIXON TOWN CHAPEL of Q. L. Douglas Funeral Home, 2403 Edison Avenue.

My Condolences to this family. I just noticed this when viewing this funeral home website. I said that looked like one of my best friends growing up. Cheryl and I grew up together in Magnolia Gardens. I would jump the ditch to visit her and play together almost everyday. Sometimes it was her, Joyce Beverly Hill, and me playing together. When we would see each other that smile always showed our closeness. Her Family will always be a part of my heart forever. RIP my friend until we meet again. Love Pat Woods-Thomas
